Next month, Qatar Airways will introduce its Qsuite business class pods on flights from Doha to New York. The first Qsuite-equipped Boeing 777 will arrive on December 16, marking its debut in the United States. Additionally, beginning on January 16, Qatar will offer Qsuites on flights between Washington Dulles and Doha.
Unveiled in March, the Qsuite boasts the airline industry’s first double bed in business class, with the capability to connect up to four individual pods. These pods are arranged in groups of four, with two adjacent pods facing two other adjacent pods. Passengers have the option to use movable barriers to maintain privacy, but they can also adjust the barriers and move TV monitors to interact with one another. Families of four can dine together or play games in their own private suite, while business teams can hold meetings. The double bed feature can be accessed by removing the barrier between two adjacent pods.
Qatar offers two daily flights to New York and one daily flight to Dulles.
